The Good news regarding check dams - June 2022

We have completed 600 check dams as of June 2022. The above are the latest figures related to our water harvesting projects. Total 600 check dams... Direct benefit that means greatly enhanced life, well above poverty line to 7,14,880 people in 378 villages. Indirect benefit to 8,07,096 people in 377 village. Total number of villages 755 and total number of people 15,21,976 people.

 

Direct benefit means -- These many villages have become drought proof. They are debt free and above poverty line. Each house hold has two wheelers and each village has  4 to 5 tractors. Villagers are having much enhanced life style. All children male and female are going to school.
 

Indirect benefit means -- These many villagers have much improved living conditions and are able to take two crops per year. Children male and female are going to school
